PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION CONTAINING NUCLEIC ACID FOR TREATING CANCER

A nucleic acid medicinal composition for cancer treatment is provided to suppress expression of Mcl-1 in cells by binding complementarily siRNA(small interfering RNA) to Mcl-1 transfer body (mRNA) base sequence. A nucleic acid medicinal composition for cancer treatment comprises an siRNA or more selected from siRNA having an antisense sequence of a sense sequence of a sequence number 16 and a sequence number 17, siRNAs having an antisense sequence of a sense sequence of a sequence number 34 and a sequence number 35 and siRNA having an antisense sequence of a sense sequence of a sequence number 42 and a sequence number 43. The siRNA is chemically transformed into a phosphorothioate formula or a boranophosphate formula and is included into the transferring nucleic acid acomplex. The transferring nucleic acid is a cationic liposome.
