An electric folding rearview mirror system is provided to function as a rearview mirror by exposing itself outside while driving. An electric folding rearview mirror system comprises a receiving part which is recessed in a door of one side of a vehicle; an elevating shaft(166) in which a spiral guide groove(166b) is formed between a mirror housing(162) and a screw thread(166a); a supporting part(170) in which a guide projection(176a) corresponding to guide groove(166b) is equipped; and a driving part(180) which is combined with the elevating shaft(166) of the side mirror(160) and elevates the elevating shaft(166) with the torque of the motor.
