METHOD OF MANUFACTURING CATALYST FOR PROPANEDIOL, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING PROPANEDIOL USING THE SAME

A catalyst for manufacturing propanediol is provided to have a high yield by making proper metal have an optimum of content and to heighten a profitability, safety and effectiveness of a propanediol-manufacturing process by progressing efficiently a reaction at a condition that a pressure and a temperature relatively are low in a case of manufacturing the propanediol from hydroxyacetone using the catalyst for manufacturing propanediol. A metal precursor aqueous solution is prepared by dissolving a kind of metal precursor compound in distilled water. A catalyst for manufacturing propanediol is manufactured by steps of: forming precipitate by controlling a pH of a metal precursor aqueous solution(S12); aging the precipitate(S13); filtering and drying the matured precipitate(S14); and plasticizing the dried precipitate(S15).
