The invention relates to devices for removal of dust from air and it is intended for use in the form of a suction pump of dusty mixture from working area of polishing, sharpening, turning, milling, woodworking machines, welding aerosols from welding plants and welding equipment, from assembly tables of radio-electronic equipment, cleaning of shop, warehouse, production and welfare spaces, collection of aerogel, and generally in all productions, where it is necessary to collect fine dispersed dust. A dust catcher with a conical separator contains a cylindro-conical housing, a louvered separator, inlet, outlet and dust-outlet branch pipes. The louvered separator is conical with an apex angle of the generatrix of its cone of 15-17 degrees, and the width of each of the louver of separator evenly decreases in the direction toward dust-outlet branch pipe. The dust catcher allows to increase the efficiency of dust collection, which is reached by keeping of the optimum parameters of the motion of dusty mixture in it: input speed of dusty mixture into the apparatus is equal to 20-22 m/s; speed of the passage of air through the slots between the louver of separator is constant and is equal to 8-10 m/s and is constant from top to bottom - from inlet duct to the branch pipe of dust discharge. |
