<p>A bismuthpolygalacturon complex may be brought in medical application form by mixing moist hydrated bismuthpolygalacturon complex precipitated from an aqs. medium with a shielding colloid such as gelatine and making the mixture micro-disperse in a colloid mill. The mixture is then mixed with at least one other component and dried below 30 deg.C. The complexes are used in medicine as a covering-, absorbing-, neutralising- or anti-obstipating agent in gastro-interological complaints. The new preparations have much greater physiological activity than the known bismuthgalacturon complexes prepd. in the dry form.</p> |
