[PROBLEMS] To provide a process for production of adsorbent-containing forms which contain zeolite as the adsorbent in concentrations of as high as 70% by weight or above and therefore exhibit high hardness and high retention of adsorptivity; a process for production of adsorbent-containing forms which is highly safe and by which adsorbent-containing forms can be produced through easy forming operation without using a mold every form; and adsorbent-containing forms obtained by the process. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A process for the production of adsorbent-containing forms, characterized by comprising the step of preparing a silane alkoxide hydrolysis fluid containing a silan alkoxide and hydrochloric acid, the step of incorporating a hydrophobic zeolite into the hydrolysis fluid, the step of curing the resulting zeolite-containing wet gel into a wet gel having a deformation ratio exceeding 0% and up to 10%, the step of cutting the cured wet gel, and the step of drying the cut wet gel to form a dry gel; and adsorbent-containing forms obtained by the process. |
