Provided are a battery service life judging device and a battery service life judging method capable of accurately judging a service life of an accumulator. An expected service life value selection unit (7) references service life data stored in a service life data storage unit (5) selects as an expected service life value, a service life corresponding a load power applied to the accumulator during discharge and an ambient temperature of the location where the accumulator (3) is installed. A first service life lowering amount calculation unit (12a) calculates a first service life lowering amount according to a natural logarithm function having a variable of a value obtained by converting the number of discharge times of the accumulator (3) into time. A second service life lowering amount calculation unit (12b) calculates a second service life lowering amount according to an average value of the accumulator temperature during discharge or halt mode measured at a predetermined time interval, an ambient temperature, and the time which has elapsed after the accumulator (3) is elapsed. A remaining service life calculation unit (12c) calculates a remaining service life value by subtracting the first service life lowering amount and the second service life lowering amount from the expected service life amount. |
