IRIS IMAGE ACQUISITION SYSTEM AT A LONG DISTANCE

An iris image obtaining system at a long distance is provided to miniaturize a lighting device at lower costs and improve eye's safety. A wide angle camera(10) takes a picture of a user sensing image. A narrow angle camera(20) is a low illuminance camera or a near infrared ray camera. The narrow angle camera includes the zoom lens and auto-focusing functions to photograph a user iris image. The near infrared ray lighting device(30) is mounted on the narrow angle camera body. The near infrared ray lighting device illuminates an imaging region of the narrow angle camera only when the narrow angle camera operates. A PT (Pan-Tilt) apparatus(40) pans and tilts the wide angle camera and the narrow angle camera mounted in parallel structure close to an optical axis.
