A method for expressing the process information in the ontology for the intelligent web service discovery is provided to solve the limit of searching service by only the external information of service with using the process signature ontology. A method for expressing the process information in the ontology is implemented with following elements: the process signature ontology(110) including the definition about the process name, the input name or the output name using the topic map which is the ontology language; the process structure ontology(120) including the definition about the process control structure; the process concept ontology(130) including the definition about process concepts, the definition of relation between concepts, the definition of the point of view about the concepts, the class definition between concepts, and the definition of the point of view about classification.
