LEAKAGE DETECTION EQUIPMENT FOR SEAL RING ON STEEL RING OF OIL PUMP

An inspection apparatus for a seal ring attached to a steel ring of an oil pump is provided to inspect the oil leakage of the seal ring simply without using a contact type sensor or display device. An apparatus for inspecting a seal ring mounted on a steel ring(50) of an oil pump inserted into a connecting member comprises a simulated connection member; a settling frame(100) fixing the oil pump; a first driving unit(300) connected to the simulated connection member and inserting the steel ring of the oil pump fixed to the settling frame to the inner surface of the simulated connection member; an air injection unit(400) combined with an inlet port(22) connected with an air outlet(52) of the steel ring and having an air supply nozzle injecting the air, in which the exterior of the air supply nozzle can close the inlet port; a second driving unit(500) operating the air injection unit so that the air injection unit closes or opens the inlet port; a pressure sensor(700) which is installed on a conduit line connected with the air outlet to discharge air to the atmosphere in order to measure the pressure of the air discharged through the air discharge part of the simulated connection member; and an air supply source(600) supplying the air of predetermined pressure to the air injection unit.
