The utensil (1) has an end functional part (3) made of plastic and formed of vanes (4) that are elastically deformable and extendable by bending. The vanes are carried by an elongated support body. A rotary adjusting unit (6) adjusts curve or bending of the vanes, and is provided adjacent to a gripping and manipulating part (2). A position or state of the adjusting unit determines a configuration of the functional part, and displacement or manipulation of the adjusting unit drives modification of curve shape of the vanes.
