MANUFACTURE OF TINPLATE COATED WITH THE LACQUER EXTRACTED FROM RHUS VERNICIFLUA

Manufacture of a tin plate uses, as coating material, the lacquer extracted from Rhus verniciflua instead of chromate treatment so that surface lubrication can be given additionally with abrasion resistance, moth resistance, antibiosis etc as well as the properties of chromate coating such as corrosion resistance and lacquerability and the oil spraying process after the chromate treatment can be omitted. Manufacture of a tin plate coated with the natural lacquer or toxicity-removed lacquer solution comprises a process for immersing a tin plate in the natural lacquer or toxicity-removed lacquer solution with pH of 3.0 or greater and a temperature range of 40~90°C or alternating immersion and spraying; a squeeze roll process for making the lacquer formed on the tin plate surface uniform; and a drying process for curing the lacquer.
