A method for processing gift certificate information is provided to enable a receiving-side client to directly download contents such as bell sounds and characters by using an electronic gift certificate provided through an event. A method for processing gift certificate information comprises the following steps. A server connects/processes the gift certificate information selected by a gift certificate supplying client(140), the phone number of a wireless terminal of a gift certificate receiving client(145), and an authentication number required for authenticating the receiving client to store the information in a database. And then, the server transmits the gift certificate information and authentication number to the wireless terminal of the gift certificate receiving client by using the phone number stored in the database. Finally, the server performs the authentication process for the receiving client through a matching process between authentication information pre-stored in the database and the authentication information received from the receiving client. |
