LCD DISPLAYS WITH LIGHT REDIRECTION

摘要

A liquid crystal display device is provided to uniformly redirect light from light sources, thereby improving display quality. A solid light guide plate(10) comprises TIR surfaces which is facing the solid light guide plate. A desirable pattern of light redirection surface structure is located among the TIR surfaces and blocks one of TIR surface. The structures have the different reflection rate with solid light guide plate. Therefore, light is uniformly irradiated to the liquid crystal display panel.
