<p>A liquid crystal display device, an electronic device, and a method for driving the same are provided to improve the display quality, and high assimilation performance. A pixel for monitor is prepared for a liquid crystal display. The luminance of the pixel is detected by using an optical sensor(124). According to this, the time for the response of the brightness variations of the backlight according to the change of environment or the liquid crystal is produced. By using the calculated information, the control of the backlight can be performed into the real time.</p> |
