A curtain airbag for vehicles is provided to protect occupants safely by quickly taking gas in inside a cushion facing to an occupant. A curtain airbag for vehicles comprises a cushion deploying between an occupant and a door of a vehicle; and an inflator supplying compressed gas to the cushion in case of collision of vehicles. The cushion has various deployment widths and is made up of a plurality of vertical cells(11~16) arranged in a row along the vehicle. The cells comprises a large size vertical cells made up of plural large size vertical cells having a large deployment width; and small size vertical cells made up of plural small size vertical cells having a deployment width smaller than that of the large size vertical cells. |
