A power supply for a light rail transit provides the power to the light rail transit stably by preventing heat generated due to a fraction between a third rail and a collector install in the light rail transit from being transmitted to a steel structure. A steel structure(10) is installed along the driving rail independently of the driving rail of the light rail transit. A pair of insulating clamps(11) are installed and coupled in both sides of the steel structure. An insulator(13) is installed and coupled in each insulating clamp. A hanger(14) is installed and coupled in each insulator. A third rail is a pair of conductor bars(18) to supply the power. The conductor bar is supported by each hanger. The power is supplied to the light rail transit by fitting the collector in a jaw.
