SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING CHATTING SERVICE IN PUBLIC SWITCHED TELEPHONE NETWORK

A system for providing a chatting service in public switched telephone network and a method therefore are provided to provide the chatting service between a telephone and a web terminal or between telephones in PSTN(Public Switched Telephone Network). A switch connects voice channel between ISMC(Interactive Short Message Center) and an originating mobile terminal by dialing the number of ISMC. A defined message and the originating terminal is exchanged by FSK signaling method. The ISMC performs chatting synchronization control between the received terminal and the originating mobile by calling the received terminal.
