REMOTE CONTROL SYSTEM AND CONTROL METHOD FOR HOME APPLIANCES

A home appliances Remote control system for controlling home appliances by using telephone network and a control method therefor are provided to increase the reliability of a control operation by transmitting a control signal by using a telephone network and reduce a cost without using solution of the LonWorks corporation. A phone(100) is connected to outdoor telephone network. A plurality of home electronic devices(300) are connected to the indoor telephone network. A remote control device is connected between the indoor telephone network and outdoor telephone network and analyzes the transmission signal of phone. The remote control device(200) transmits the control signal of home appliance to each home appliance if the transmission signal is the control signal of the home appliance.
