A portable electronic instrument is provided to be used without the inconvenience such as the cable connection or exchange of the primary battery or charge for the long time. A portable electronic instrument has a rotator(110) which is rotatable about the case. A generator(145) converts the rotational kinetic energy of rotator into the electrical energy. A gear structure(130) has one or more gear transferring the rotation of rotator to generator. A second lithium ion polymer battery stores the electrical energy generated from the generator. A circuit part(140) performs function of the electronic device in the case.
