An energy-saving fireplace apparatus having a boiler function is provided to increase the heat transfer and energy efficiency by improving the hydrological circulation in the fireplace through the heating pipe. An energy-saving fireplace apparatus having a boiler function includes a fireplace(10) comprising a main body(11) having a plurality of heating plates(12), a square water tank(20) disposed on the rear side of a center heating chamber, and a safety valve(25) discharging the air when the inner pressure is increased; a boiler connected through a heating pipe connected to the upper and lower part of the water tank together with the fireplace; a distributor which is installed in the middle of the heating pipe and circulates the water into discrete pipes; a temperature sensor detecting the water temperature; a circulation motor which is switched according to the sensed temperature of the temperature sensor to circulate the water within the heating pipe; and fireplace and boiler side ball valves controlling the inflow/outflow of the water to the fireplace. A heating pipe(30) connected to the water tank to introduce the water of the water tank and discharge the water to the water tank after heating is formed on a side of the main body. The upper heating pipe is bent zigzag in the horizontal direction on right and left sides of the main body.
