HEAT DISSIPATION DEVICE FOR LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY

A heat dissipation device for a liquid crystal display is provided to install a heat radiating member at a switching element where lots of heat is generated at an inverter, thereby exhausting heat. A switching controller(21) controls the switching operation of the switching transistor portion(22). A switching transistor portion performs a switching operation with the control of the switching controller. A heat-sinking member(23A) is fixed on the top of transistor(FET) of the switching transistor portion and emits the heat generated in the transistor(FET) to outside. A transformer portion(24) converts the AC power into the AC power of the high voltage with the switching operation of the switching transistor portion and outputs the power to the backlight. The heat-radiating member has a plurality of through-hole(H1) for the heat dissipations to length and width direction.
