METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DETERMINING INJECTION RATE OF COAGULANT IN WATER TREATMENT METHOD

A method and an apparatus for determining a ratio of a coagulant injecting amount to the amount of water to be processed are provided to determine a proper injecting ratio of coagulant automatically within short time. Water to be processed is collected into a plurality of sample water tanks(1A~1D). A different coagulant set in advance is injected with sample water collected in each test water tank so that sample water has a different coagulant injection ratio. The coagulant is injected in each sample water and the coagulant is dispersed by mixing(3A~3D) so that time until which agglomeration starts is measured with regard to each sample water. The correlation of agglomeration start time and coagulant is computed by a fitting line based on a coagulant injection ratio.
