A control method of electro-hydraulic power steering is provided to supply optimum steering force since the road condition such as normal or slippery is considered. A control method of electro-hydraulic power steering is comprised of steps: calculating a basic control gain by comparing real the speed of vehicle and steering angle with the estimated speed of vehicle and steering angle considering a road condition; obtaining and classifying frictional coefficient of the traveling road through the pressure of the pump according to the manipulation of the steering system; controlling the number of rotation of oil pump by increasing gain form the basic gain which is obtained through vehicle rolling.
