A molecule detecting device can detect a target molecule within the fluid more accurately with the same or greater sensitivity with the conventional rectangular parallelepiped cantilever by using a cylindrical cantilever. A molecule detecting device includes a first optical fiber(10) comprising a first core(11) and a cladding protecting the first core; a second optical fiber(20) comprising a second core(21) which is positioned on the straight line with the first optical fiber at a certain interval and a cladding protecting the second core; a cylindrical cantilever(30) extended from the second core in the space between the second optical fiber and the first optical fiber; and a receptor(40) fixed to at least a part of the outer circumference of the cylindrical cantilever in order to bind the target molecule within the fluid.
