A method for selecting a minor channel of a digital TV is provided to select a minor channel by using only a number key without inputting a delimiter between a major channel number and a minor channel number, thereby more conveniently selecting the minor channel. When a major channel number is inputted(S10), the major channel number is stored. And it is determined whether the major channel number is maintained during the preset first setting time. If the major channel number is continuously inputted during the first setting time, after the major channel number is input, it is determined whether a minor channel number is input before the preset second setting time passes(S30). If the minor channel number is input before the second setting time passes, the minor channel corresponding to the minor channel number is selected(S50).
