The cover (1) has clamping units (6) cooperating with a hollow case (3) in order to close an opening surface (4) of the case and partially hide reinforcing bars and to authorize lifting of the cover for accessing the bars. The clamping units are constituted of two longitudinal and lateral grooves (7-1, 7-2) located on edges of a plain and flat board (5) and cooperating with the hollow case at a level of two lips (8-1, 8-2), where the cover is made of wood or pressed wood particles.
