PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plunger type fuel pump driving device that improves freedom of layout. SOLUTION: The fuel pump driving device drives a plunger (31) to perform a reciprocating motion to suck and discharge fuel. The fuel pump driving device comprises a cam part (23) provided with a cam (27) that drives the plunger to reciprocate and a sprocket (26) provided coaxially with the cam (27), and a shaft part (21) fixed to an engine and that rotatably journals the cam part (23).
