PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an excessive reaction of a throttle valve when the throttle valve is driven based on a throttle opening calculated from a plurality of requested torques in a control device of an internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: The plurality of requested torques are collected (Step 100), and whether or not the sensitivity of change in a throttle opening with respect to a torque change is large, is determined (Step 102). When it is determined that the sensitivity is large, first, only the vibrational requested torques are converted into a throttle opening (Step 106), and next, a requested torque in which the other requested torques are collected is converted into a throttle opening (Step 108). Then, the requested throttle opening calculated in Step 106 and the requested throttle opening calculated in Step 108 are collected to calculate a final throttle opening. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
