PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply a gas by mitigating the gas pressure from a gas supply source so that an excessive pressure is not imposed on the inside of a bottomed glass tube. SOLUTION: The apparatus for molding a bottomed glass tube 10 is equipped with a nitrogen gas bomb 26 which supplies the gas into a bottomed glass tube 16, which is for converting the inside of the bottomed glass tube 16 from a vacuum state to a state inhaling the gas by supplying the gas from the nitrogen gas bomb 26. For the purpose, the apparatus is equipped with a gas container 32 for mitigating the gas pressure supplied from the nitrogen gas bomb 26 and then supplying the gas into the bottomed glass tube.
