<p>A mold rectifier includes: a plurality of rectification pieces formed by copper or a copper alloy and arranged on a circumference; a plurality of spark absorbing elements arranged between adjacent rectification pieces, having a pair of parallel planes, and each having an electrode; and a resin mold unit for molding them as a unitary block. The spark absorbing elements are electrically connected to the rectification pieces via the electrodes so that spark voltage generated in the rectification pieces is absorbed by current flowing between the electrodes.</p>
