The feed, clamp and removal system for pipes in pipe test stands and presses includes two or more driven rotor discs (6-8) spaced on a single axis, with guides at right angles to the axis, so that the pipes line up parallel to the axis when feeding onto the disc rims for clamping and removal on the far side. The guide is a continuous support track (1) with its surface above the axes (10-12). Rotating the discs in one direction carries the pipes (2-4) along this track, and rotation in the opposite direction clamps the pipes between discs and track. At least two of the several rim recesses on the discs (13-15) are in hook form. It is possible to have a number of parallel axes in sequence, each fitted with two or more rotors.
