<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolytic secondary battery that has a high capacity and fine cycle characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolytic secondary battery includes a positive electrode containing a positive mixture, a negative electrode, a separator, and a nonaqueous electrolyte. The positive mixture contains a positive active material that contains a lithium-nickel complex oxide, and the nonaqueous electrolyte contains a nonaqueous solvent and a lithium salt dissolved in the nonaqueous solvent.
