CALIPER BRAKE DEVICE FOR RAILWAY ROLLING STOCK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caliper brake device for a railway rolling stock free to work by pneumatic pressure.

SOLUTION: This caliper brake device for the railway rolling stock furnished with a disc rotor 6 formed on a side part of a wheel 5 and left and right brake blocks 70 to give friction force by sandwiching this disc rotor 6 is furnished with a caliper main body 10 supporting the left and right brake blocks 70, vertical sliding pins 30, 32 to support this caliper main body 10 free to slide against a supporting frame 20 on the side of the carriage (rolling stock), a link 111 supported free to revolve against the caliper main body 10 and a brake actuator 120 to press the brake blocks 70 on the disc rotor 6 by revolving this link 111.
