<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display system capable of automatically recognizing the arrangement configuration of a plurality of displays without making communication with adjacent displays. <P>SOLUTION: A server 10 outputs numbers, which correspond to respective ports and are different from one another, for example, natural numbers starting from one, to all ports and allows an individual display 40 to display a different number. Subsequently, the server 10 captures the whole display with a camera 20 and recognizes the display 40 which displays the number exhibited by a number recognition object parameter X every number recognition object parameter X.
