<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply system and a power supply method by which a power supply source can be smoothly changed from a generator in a vessel to a power supply device outside the vessel when the vessel is anchored in a port, and can perform power line communication with loads such as a refrigerating container loaded onto the vessel. <P>SOLUTION: A first switch 42 is provided in a power supply passage from a generator 2 of the vessel 1 to a main switchboard 40, a second switch 43 is provided in a power supply passage from a land power source 99 to the main switchboard 40, and a third switch 44 is provided in a power supply passage from the main switchboard 40 to a refrigerating container. In addition, a monitor device 90 is connected to the main switchboard 40. The monitor device 90 can perform power line communication with the refrigerating container, regardless of the power supply source being the generator 2 or the land power source 99. When cutting off the third switch 44, notification is made from the main switchboard 40 to the monitor device 90, causing no inconvenience in processing with the monitor device 90. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
