<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear part structure of a vehicle body capable of enhancing the energy absorption performance in a rear-end collision without increasing the size of a section of a rear frame. <P>SOLUTION: Right and left rear frames 2, 2 comprise a first frame 14 with its rear end being joined with a rear panel 6 and a second frame 15 with its front end being joined with a side sill at a vehicle body side and its rear end being joined with a front end of the first frame 14 being joined with its rear end. An arc-shaped frame 20 is provided, a top of the arc-shaped frame 20 is joined with the rear panel 6, and both ends extend to a rear end of the second frame 15. An edge of the arc-shaped frame 20 and the first frame 14 are joined with each other with an edge of a spare tire pan 8 being held therebetween to form a closed section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
