PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid machine or an electric vacuum cleaner including an electric blower, achieving reduced noise and fluid loss and improved suction force. SOLUTION: This fluid machine and electric vacuum cleaner are each provided with a centrifugal impeller 30, a stationary portion having a diffuser channel 41, and a fan casing 34 enclosing the centrifugal impeller, the stationary portion, and a peripheral channel 45. An auxiliary channel having length different from that of a main channel leading from the diffuser channel 41 to the peripheral channel 45 is arranged between a pair of communication holes 68, 69 formed in the fan casing 34.
