PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clean face towel capable of being sufficiently steamed with hot bath water when used as a steamed towel, and allowing a user to use the towel for face washing without feeling a sense of discomfort. SOLUTION: Catching of fingers in a breathing hole or deformation of the breathing hole, etc. can be prevented while retaining the function of the breathing hole by applying meshes to the breathing hole of the towel. Patterns of a face, eyes and a nose, etc. are displayed on the towel, so that the vertical and horizontal directions can be recognized at a glance to prevent wrong use. The face towel can be developed considering the fact that a multi-layered face towel tends to be unclean. Accordingly, the towel can be easily washed and easily dried, and the multi-layered face towel with a high degree of steaminess is sanitarily achieved. In addition, means for preventing displacement of the breathing hole when used is provided. Patterns of a face, eyes and the nose, etc. are displayed on the towel so that the vertical and horizontal directions can be recognized at a glance to prevent such a wrong use as to make the displacement preventing means ineffective.
