PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker capable of efficiently discharging excessive moisture while loosening the boiled rice in a steaming step after the rice boiling step by simple structure. SOLUTION: The rice cooker includes a steam pipe 37 for discharging steam inside a pot 34 to the outside; an air pathway 35 having an open/close valve 36 for feeding air into the pot 34, a fan 33 for blowing air into the steam pipe 37 and the air pathway 35; and an agitator 41 driven by a rotation driving device 39 to agitate the boiled rice. A control device 48 in the rice cooker drives the fan 33 and the rotation driving device 39 after the steaming process in the rice boiling process and opens the open/close valve 36 of the fan 35 to agitate the boiled rice and to feed air to the boiled rice. In this way, the moisture remaining on the surface of the boiled rice can be efficiently discharged by the fan 33 at once while agitating the boiled rice after the steaming process, and steam can be efficiently discharged by the fan 33 in the rice boiling step via the steam pipe 37.
