BONE PROSTHETIC MATERIAL AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bone prosthetic material suitably applied to a part including the cortical bone and trabecular bone of different porosities such as the part recessed on the inner side of the iliac bone or the like, and its manufacturing method.

SOLUTION: The bone prosthetic material 1 is manufactured by supporting the vicinity of both end parts in the longitudinal direction of a green body 3 obtained by drying slurry containing calcium phosphate powder by two support members 2 and calcining it while locally applying loads in the state of mounting a weight 4 on the roughly center part in the longitudinal direction of the green body 3.
