<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network multifunction machine that prevents a user from being left in a log-in state as it is. <P>SOLUTION: In a log-in state, a control unit 11 monitors whether operation information is input from a main body operation unit. Once the control unit 11 detects a start key or reset key being pressed, an authentication management unit 14 displays a log-out confirmation picture for confirming whether the user intends to log out. When a Yes key is pressed, the control unit 11 performs a job or resetting of the network multifunction machine 1, and the authentication management unit 14 performs log-out processing. A log-out timer 111 generates a timer event before a key of the log-out confirmation picture is pressed, the authentication management unit 14 executes log-out processing.
