PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid discharge apparatus which cools a recording head while preventing dew condensation. SOLUTION: A region surrounded by a cover 40 is partitioned into a forward space in front of a discharge head 24 in its moving direction, and a backward space in its backside. Even if the backward space easily becomes in a hot and humid condition owing to heat of a heater 37 and humidity of vapor of ink, the backward space is prevented from becoming in the hot and humid condition, through introduction of cool air. Even if hot and humid air remains in the forward space, it is discharged outside, and therefore, the forward space is prevented from becoming in the hot and humid condition. The discharge head 24 is always subjected to cool air while a carriage 22 is moving, and is kept at a low temperature.
