The invention relates to a nozzle (1) for a floor cleaning device used for cleaning surfaces such as textile floor coverings and smooth floors. Said nozzle (1) comprises a gliding sole (5) which is arranged on the bottom side and inside which an opening is disposed in the form of a suction port (8). A suction duct (9) extends from the suction port (8) to a connection piece (3). The suction port (8) is delimited by a front (81) and a rear suction port edge (82) in the direction in which the floor nozzle (1) is pushed. In order to reduce kinetic resistance when the floor nozzle (1) is pushed while increasing the mechanical effect on a carpet when the floor nozzle (1) is pulled, the rear suction port edge (82) is designed to be pivotable about an axis that extends transverse to the pushing direction. |
