The evaporator device (1) has a base body (2) with an inlet (3) and a drain (4). A heating element (5) and a channel (6) are provided for connecting the inlet with the drain. The heating element, with an evaporation section (7) of the channel, is engaged in a thermo-conducting manner. The channel, in the evaporation section, has a meander-shaped run. An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle.
