The invention aims at providing a process for the production of NdFeB sin tered magnets which can bring about higher coercive force improving effect a nd smaller scattering of the effect and which enables the production of the magnets at a low cost. A process for the production of NdFeB sintered magnet s which comprises applying a powder containing Dy and/or Tb to an NdFeB sint ered magnet and heating the resulting magnet to diffuse the Rh contained in the powder into the magnet through grain boundaries, characterized in that t he powder contains 0.5 to 50wt% of metallic Al and the oxygen content of the NdFeB sintered magnet is 0.4wt% or below. |
