A folding bed comprises two mattresses 8, 9 pivotally mounted at 11, 12 near their rear sides to side members 6 of an iron frame and adapted to be rotated from horizontal position one above the other to overlapping nearly vertical out-of-service position. Further side members 7 are pivoted to the members 6 and overlie the mattresses in out-of-service position. A board 4 with rails 5 for curtains is pivoted to the top of the frame. The frame may comprise panels (14, 15, 16 Figs. 4, 5) and thus it completely encloses the mattress in the out-of-service position. |
