<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce occurrence of mounting defect of an insulating ring to a negative electrode terminal board and an appearance defect caused by it, and to suppress the spray-shaped jet of an alkali electrolyte, even if the gas pressure in an alkaline dry cell increases, in a manufacturing process of the alkaline dry cell. <P>SOLUTION: In this alkaline dry cell 1 including a battery casing 2 which has an opening part and in which a power generating element containing the alkali electrolyte is housed, an assembled sealing body 3 equipped with a resin sealing body 10 having a thin thickness part 10a ruptured by a gas pressure in the inside of the battery casing and a negative electrode terminal board 11 to seal the battery case 2 by being mounted to the opening part of the battery casing 2, an insulating ring 4 mounted to the negative electrode terminal board 11, and an exterior label 5 provided to make contact with the peripheral surface of the battery case 2, a positioning part 12 coming into contact with the negative electrode terminal board 11, and an air gap forming part 13 to form an air gap 14 together with the negative electrode terminal board 11 are provided on the inner peripheral surface of the insulating ring 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
