<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately obtain the optimum recording condition of an optical information recording medium having two or more information recording layers. <P>SOLUTION: In the optical information recording medium comprising a first information recording layer onto which information is recorded by a laser beam, and a second information recording layer onto which information is recorded by a laser beam that has passed the first information recording layer, the first information recording layer includes at least one of a reproduction-only area and a recording/reproducing area, and the second information recording layer, which includes a test recording area, has at least one of the reproduction-only area and the recording/reproducing area and the test area located therein so that one of the reproduction-only area and the recording/reproducing area includes an area, in the first information recording layer, through which a laser beam for recording information into the test recording area passes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
