摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission device enhancing fuel economy while utilizing advantage of a continuously variable transmission mechanism and a stepped transmission mechanism and capable of attaining cost reduction together with miniaturization of a motor. <P>SOLUTION: The power transmission device 1 has the continuously variable transmission mechanism 3 and the stepped transmission mechanism 2 coupled to an internal combustion engine in series. The continuously variable transmission mechanism 3 is constituted by a motor 33; a planetary gear mechanism 3; a switching detection means for detecting switching of a shift stage of the stepped transmission mechanism 2 and obtaining a switching signal; a shift stage obtaining means for obtaining a subsequent shift stage shifted from the present shift stage; and a control part having a synchronization means for synchronizing the number of revolution of the input shaft 21 of the transmission mechanism 2 with stage in which gear connection of the present shift stage of the stepped transmission mechanism 2 is disconnected by switching of the shift stage of the stepped transmission mechanism 2 and connection with the output shaft 22 of the stepped transmission mechanism 2 is disconnected to the number of revolution at the input shaft 21 side for controlling the electric power inputted/outputted to the motor and calculated from a speed reduction ratio of the subsequent shift stage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
